Download the latest binary:
Connect to Hypnotik AP
Connect your Windows PC to the Wi-Fi Access Point generated by the Hypnotik FX device (Network Name: HYPNOTIK-XXXX)

Open Chrome and Access Captive Portal
Once connected, open Google Chrome or relavent browser and enter 4.3.2.1 to open the Hypnotik FX Home page.

Access AP Mode Controls
On the landing page, click the "LED STRIP CONTROLS" button under the AP Mode section to proceed.

Access Main Dashboard
Once the Main Dashboard loads, navigate to the Settings menu via main menu as shown in the picture.

Security and Updates
Select the Security and Updates tab to access the firmware upgrade interface.

Select Manual OTA
Choose the Manual OTA option to begin the manual firmware upgrade process.

Check Current Version
Make a note of the current firmware version displayed on the screen.

Load New Firmware
Click Choose File and select the new binary file you previously downloaded to your computer.

The downloaded file usually stored at downloads directory in the phone.

Select the right type and versioned firmware file.

Trigger Upgrade
Once the binary file is loaded, click the "UPDATE!" button.
The update has started. Important: Do not close the browser tab or disconnect the device during this process.

Update Successful
The firmware upgrade is complete. Please wait a moment while the device automatically reboots.

Reboot & Verification
After reboot the android device can disconnect from the HYPNOTIK-XXXX WiFi network. Please reconnect to the same network and reload the page in the browser. The same landing page appears.

System Information
Go to the Info page to confirm that the new firmware version is listed correctly. LED STRIP CONTROLS → Menu → Info → System Info

Completion
Congratulations! The firmware upgrade was successful. Your controller is now updated and ready for optimal performance.
